The is one type of status that seems to have become Common since I have returned to fab that I never saw in the past. "d*unk in town and need a lift home" "anyone want to give me a lift home?"

Is this a new way of meeting I'm missing out on?

Yeah, it's people too lazy/tight to get the bus/a taxi. I've also seen people asking for money to top up their phone, or theyre struggling to pay their rent

And are people foolish enough to fall for it??

I’ve seen men asking and offering. There’s also a guy who posts that he is ‘out taxiing later’ usually on a weekend, which may mean he’s a legit taxi driver or may mean something a little more unsavoury

Some people are just graspers, male and female, they probably don't work or don't earn much but still smoke and go out every week while basically begging for someone else to pay for it.
