Was great to hear her story... Massive step but one that so many will consider as they are trapped in the wrong body... A decision that sorts the friends from the chaff... RESPECT |

What did they change exactly?
There is a reason they came out when they came out and not when they were younger, because it had become more acceptable, and who made it more acceptable? not them anyway.
The hundreds of thousands of people who came out and got the shit beaten out of them over it but came out anyway. |

I was quite intrigued to hear her story and felt in awe of how she had retained her sense of dignity (and humour) throughout.
It must have been one hell of a struggle to live in the wrong body and a lot of courage to finally come out publicly.
For me it was a true eye openener when she corrected Piers on what was offensive to her and also telling him not to to it again.
I have a lot of admiration for her and feel she has done a lot of good for the trans community. |
