on people who have been on site for over a year or a long time and haven't met,
I met someone last night who had been on here for over a year and decided they wanted to meet, they were unsure and waited until they were 100% certain and then arranged the meet.

Nobody should be under any pressure to meet regardless of length of time served on here. Those that insinuate about someone's legitimacy to be here should go and do one. |

I really don't get why some people spend most of their time worrying about how others use the site.

Have to agree with the OP. It also is the same with people who have had meets but not for a while. We have a validation from Feb this year but nothing since. There is also nothing before that since Dec 2009.
We have had replies from people to the effect that we are not genuine or we would have more. They have even asked if I am now a single guy as I haven't had meets for a while! The reason we haven't is that we tend to meet the same people and see no point in loads of Validations from the same people!
Funny thing is, those saying others without validation after a long period are not genuine are some of the same people we have seen saying that people should be allowed to use the site as they wish!  |

I never understand the need for people to decide how long etc peopel should be on site before profiles removed.
Who are we to dictate how people conduct their lives.
Good for your friend I say - bet she'll enjoy it more for taking her time about it! |

Other than socials and a couple of mmfs
I've only met about four times in the last year also
Some people just take longer ta feel comfortable with it and research it
It don't automatically make them a timewaster xx |

Well I haven't met anyone new from this site since last October and even those I knew from another site (nothing to do with this one)
But..... later this evening I am meeting a chap from Fabflirts. We met for first time on Sunday and having a second meet ce soir.
I wonder if thats the first meet from the new site? I doubt it lol. |
