The fabbing of pics thing becomes something of a self fulfilling prophecy in that the more fabs a photo gets, the more exposure, hence more fabs.
I wonder, why is it so important to be fabbed?
Interestingly I have only ever seen ‘please fab my pics’ from female profiles or the female side of couples profiles. |

Have to say at a risk of derailing the thread this is a perfect example when saying nothing would be better. No need for any point scoring or proving your opinion is more unique than another. It is about someone asking for help with their confidence, why would anyone wish to undermine that. |

I’ve seen men ask for Fabs but they are in the minority.
The importance will differ depending on the person requesting it. I felt the OP was being sincere and it would be a nice boost for her |

I think is has more to do with the general approach to sex. Men are visual and will fab what they like to see. There’s also the strategy of hoping someone see their fab and gives them a courtesy fuck but this probably never happens.
Most of the fabbed male pics are interracions between gay/bi guys.
You ladies have far more levers to be pulled before you’re turned on. Pics alone won’t do it. |

Can I suggest that if you can't support a fellow forumite without such unpleasantness just wander off to another thread.

Have to agree with you on this, you had the balls(or nor) to give your honest opinion, one that would fly in the face of the common consensus I am sure you knew...this I like, I don't like sheep....there are enough on here as it is...and although I don't agree with your thoughts, we surely are all entitled to have our own and not be subject of abuse for having them.

This was my thought exactly when I saw the original post. “If you’ve got nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. Unless...there is a serious or misleading or nasty comment that you could challenge. In this case, this doesn’t apply, fabbing pictures (whether you like them or not - I do actually just for the record ) is a harmless activity and the OP gets a lovely warm glow from the love.
The initial comment about not thinking it’s not a good photo isn’t that offensive though, it says it’s not a very good photo (and not that the OP is fugly like we are lol) and this comment comes from “he’s a professional photographer and she’s a model”. If I were you, I might think the same...I wouldn’t write it...but you have a perfect right to, and deal with the discussion and debate afterwards.

What makes you think that if someone's opinion isn't the same as yours or undermines in any, that it shouldn't be given? That's only your opinion, everyone is entitled to one....or is that not the case? Agree with the majority(I will say majority and not clique) or don't post, is that what you are saying? Negative or positive, all posts should be welcome(besides any that are against forum rules obviously)..Just for the record I didn't think the original post that this concerns was that bad, not a positive post but nor was it abusive in any way, so I didn't think it deserved any abuse back...just my opinion.
There is a time and a place for everything in this world. How difficult is it for people to stand down, just that once, or chose their words a little more wisely.
In this instance I do agree with what you are saying, but that's just my opinion, and not the person in questions, and all I was saying is that people should be allowed their own opinion without getting abuse for it....no matter whether we think its right or warranted...its just their opinion, we all have one.
