Yeah I was stood up once in 2016 when a guy I'd been speaking to for a while was supposed to come over (he's no longer here) I'd cooked nibbles and tidied my whole house and arranged a sitter and got ready. Time came and he didn't turn up, didn't answer texts or calls, it was Wales' first game in the World Cup and he had gone out to watch the football.
I left messages and messages calling him a cunt and saying I'd find him and kick his head in. He apologised the next day and I met him a few days later, he turned up and I didn't even fancy him in the flesh anyway so sent him away. |

Had a couple of no shows, rather than get angry I enjoyed my latte and muffin and relaxed while reading my book in peace. This is Fab, no matter how much you prepare, talk, exchange calls etc there will always be people who let you down |

Twice
One that I drove 40 miles to meet after arranging it for weeks.only to be left say there like a fool waiting for her and she blocked my number and blocked me on here and apparently she's done it to other people.
The other one was quite recently and she wanted to meet me and my bf so we both booked the day off work and she sent us a message 2 hours after the arranged time saying SUCKERS and she blocked me x |

He was a no show but technically so was i  . I was waiting for him to announce his arrival at venue before i turned up. I was 5 mins away doing errands in town.

Didn’t have any no shows when I was single. At least I don’t think I did? Lol.

Years ago, arranged a meet, all excited and ready, got a message about an hour before and it literally was "got a better offer, sorry"

Never been stood up because I don't even get in the shower if they aren't messaging me, but I've had 'Lets meet on the 8th then.....' and never heard another dicky bird, 'Failure to confirm' I call it!  |

I’ve had a couple of no shows. Being very very very old and experienced; a little voice regularly whispers to me ,” there’s no fool like an old fool”. I always have this in the back of mind as the feeling of being had or stood up is horrible.
The first time was after a long period of exchanging messages and telephone calls. The agreement was for me to book a hotel and she would meet me in the bar.
I dutifully waited and waited and it dawned on me after an hour that she wasn’t coming. I didn’t receive an apology. Instead I got a highly abusive email followed by a bizarre voicemail laughing at me.
The second occasion involved a couple. Plan was to meet at a club which I don’t normally attend. It was complicated to get there. Embarrassing when they didn’t turn up as I was known by the locals as “that guy who got stood up”. I wasn’t in the mood for a sympathy fuck.
Again I didn’t receive an apology or an explanation.
My experience informs all my contacts in FAB. you’ll see I have many excellent verifications but this week alone I’ve been contacted by two members who exchanged encouraging messages then blocked me for no apparent reason.
Ho hum.

Had a few.
The weirdest one was we were having a mmmf and had invited 6 guys (knowing that most of them wouldn't turn up -only one guy turned up) and one guy who was supposed to be coming came in a mini bus saw him come out and he had several other guys with him (Not sure why as this hadn't been agreed.)
But they didn't come to the door just left again.

Yeah. Was strange. Hadn't arranged it with him and he didn't message to say he was taking other guys. Just saw him in the car park and he several male friends with him. They looked around the car park then left.
We messaged him asking about it and he tried to deny it so we blocked him.

Had 3 no show in 6 years a few bomb outs at the last minute they suddenly can't get out of work due to some reason or family crisis or emergency job. Also had, "oh can you come on your own I don't really want to meet a couple actually"
Can spot the pattern pretty much most of the time now that keyboard warriors use and verify if possible by cam meeting someone I've not met before.
