What the fuck is that all about? I've experienced it for the very first time and it tasted like .

Surely, that lines up alongside sprouts, marmite, pickled eggs, or similar, as foods created by devils.

Nope. Cottage cheese is more than welcome in our house.

However, courgettes are simply wrong on every level. Bleugh!

I do a pretty mean prawns with courgettes curry, the trick is to prep the courgettes first and leave them in cold salted water for about an hour before cooking

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

try making it yourself rather than the shop bought slop, its lovely and only takes 5 minutes to blitz a batch in the food processor.

Halloween Town

Mr GR makes hummus, so easy to do and tastes perfect every time!

Always makes plain, and then some random flavours.

Great to freeze as well!

Damn, hungry now..

I like hummus it's ok ....

I can't really be arsed to eat it though unless I need a "healthy" dip.

Now what about sundried tomatoes in hummus

No need!

In the middle

Hummus makes me very poorly as I’m allergic to sesame and they put copious amount of tahini in it, I didn’t realise this till I ate some and was very poorly after

Hummus is tasty! Eat it with salad, olives and pita bread.

Marmite on toast with melted butter is yum.

Taramasalata is fucking disgusting. Will make you vom.

I can't eat courgettes since that fateful day in the 80s when I ate a courgette bake thing and threw it up.

Seriously, throwing up courgettes feels like throwing up slugs.

On a night out with the lads, I asked for a glass of Prosecco and some Hummus and Tarasamalata. Why was I judged so cruelly?

Was it supermarket hummus?

I went looking for a deli before Christmas to get some nice paté, with maybe some Jarlsberg and peach brie cheeses. Walked for ages, found no delis. There used to be at least three just in my old neighbourhood but now they're those small express supermarkets or multinational coffee houses.

I eventually had to settle for a Tescos choice of pre-packed rough or smooth paté, which was made in a skip on a Slough industrial estate.

You can't stop progress.
