"Tenacious D"
If you like Tenacious D try looking on youtube (or wherever you choose) for Steel Panther.
For me as far as the bigger Rock acts go it has to be Metallica. |

One of my fondest memories was shagging in a cubical whilst Ronnie was on stage, my then girlfriend loved public sex.
Same girl, we was at it in a tent whils twe could hear Guns n Roses, I remember Paradise City being played and we had a chuckle, lol |

I change my mind on this to often to choose to be honest, but throw a random voice into the mix, Chris Cornell, not on a par with some of these guys mentioned, but doesn't get enough recognition for me. |

So many bands and great vocalists - Dave Coverdale? Joe Lynn Turner, Steve Tyler?
Guitar Gods - Michael Schenker?, Yngwie Malmsteen - John Petrucci? Nuno Bettencourt? |

For decadence and partying don't forget Rod Stewart and The Faces in the 70's
Can't agree more about Lemmy, Slash, GnR, Thin Lizzy.
Don't forget The Sex Pistols, Lynard Skynard, Cream, Hendrix and the list goes on... |

Haha, that's Phil for ya.
I've seen Murderdolls also, but sadly not Stone Sour, wanted to see them this time around when they toured with Avenged Sevenfold, already seen those and they were really impressive. |

The Cult- purely for She Sells Sanctuary, and Ozzy- seen him live at Download a few years ago and my GOD- for a guy that can hardly walk, he can strutt his stuff on stage and his voice is still AMAZING.
Also, from a purely theatrical POV, Slipknot and Cradle of Filth take some beating.
But Bon Jovi and Brian Adams are like the comfort blankets of rock, I think! |

If you like Bon Jovi... then I strongly recommend EdGuy
Seriously, if they had been American, then they'd be getting to the Bon Jovi stage...
Stand out songs... Ballads - Land of Miracles, and Save Me
Rock ones - Robin Hood, Mysteria, and Lavatory Love Machine... |
