"You're already telling yourself you won't enjoy it, don't waste your money.
Everyone else has said find a different kind of exercise. Do you cycle, run, walk? "
I walk a lot in work, could get into 5 a side football. Just my work and homelife does not really allow for evening activities. Mornings im free, dont own a bike. |

What about taking classes instead? I go to a couple of classes a week at my local leisure centre either at 6am or 10am. |

How about swimming? I find the gym boring, but swimming never gets old.
I guess What we're all saying is to think outside the box. If you're not excited to do the exercise then you'll stop eventually and it will just be a waste.... |

I inevitably get bored at the gym, it was the reason I quit last time; paying a membership I wasn't using.
If you don't think you'll last then save some money. Play some sports instead. |

"If you get bored, then why not try a different kind of exercise?"
Absolutely this. Even if I paid a gazillion pounds a month I doubt I would go save perhaps for a sauna every now and again. I have a home erg and do weights at the club - both means to an end which is the sport itself. |

Tbh anyone who is looking to be more active and motivated about changing things in there life...for the better of your health then its all about baby steps....cut out one thing from your diet...say sweets for starters..
Concerning getting bored in gym or general fitness..trust me...theres loads of ways to keep things fresh...get some PT assistance for a wee while so they can show you the right way to do things and keep form so you wont injure yourself....id recommend kettlebells and HIIT to change it up and get in some great resistance cardio without going too hard on thd body compared to free weight work(perfect form is needed 100%)as is any type of exercise to fully benefit and stay injury free...do that 2-3times a week folks...in and out within an hour but eat wisely...no harm in a treat now and then |
