Every time I tried to post this I kept making spelling mistakes and gave up!!! Anyway has anybody ever taken this for giving up smoking and were you successful?? I’m suffering insomnia with it what side effects did others have??

I used it but ended up dropping the dosage due to the sides, insomnia, headaches etc. Stayed off for about two years but eventually went back to them.

Stick to the dosage and finish the course would be my advice. Sides are temporary and worth it.

Gave up with the aid of champix together with a cessation course over 5 years ago. I think there were some funny dreams but no serious side effects that I can remember. Had previously tried other methods and aids without success. I wouldn't have managed it without champix.

Traffic land

My ex used this, he decided to give up just as our second child was born. He was awful on it, it really did something horrible to his mood. Not just giving up smoking grumpy, but pure nasty and he went back to the gp (after I begged him to) and he had to stop taking it.

Thankyou for your feedback peeps they do ease my cravings but it’s just the lack of sleep I am finding difficult. Medication affects everyone differently xx
