I shouldnt have to put this, but:

DISCRETE is keeping yourself private.Like an island.Like CRETE.

Not really fabbish.

DISCREET is being careful and respectful. Not like a holiday club 18-30 island.Fabbish if you want to play the 'respect' card to get in some tramp's scamps for a one-off.

Next week: Stationery and stationary.

Genuinely didn't know the distinction or that there was one in fact.

One that should be fully explained in Irony because I've yet to see anyone use or refer to it correctly.

So what. Make you feel better about yourself writing that?

sorry, but you are incorrect. you have given the same meaning to both words. Discrete means separate, or different.

i think the lady is referring to the OP..and sadly, given his green arrow, i think it will take rather more than curing bad spelling to make that happen.

"sorry, but you are incorrect. you have given the same meaning to both words. Discrete means separate, or different."

And discreet means to keep quiet about things.

I was in B & M with an FB the other day....I shouted “don’t move!!” She asked why?

I told her she was in the stationary aisle ....she wasn’t amused! (Actually it was the stationery aisle,)
