Just been checking the recycling website and it seems that they will not take waste wrapping paper for recycling
I find it very annoying that I try and do everything I can to recycle my waste but councils seems to go out of thier way to make it as difficult as possible |

My point is that near everything is recyclable even as has been mentioned the black plastic trays and bottle tops but it maybe there is not enough money in it for them
Plastic can be used to make all kinds of things even building materials but as usual it’s all about profits |

The issue is money grabbing manufacturers making things out of cheap in recyclable products. It's not an end game issue it's the other end of the process.
And I'm guessing you'll happily cough up the increase in tax to pay for your council to increase its recycling abilities?
Also, there are a lot of processes needed to recycle a takeaway cup which has plastic stuck to it so it comes down to how much good the recycling is doing when a number of fossil fuels and chemicals are used to recycle it.
Ethical manufacturing is needed. |

"You need to do the scrunch test to see of it can be recycled or not. If it stays scrunched up your good. If not it's metallised plastic and can't. "
Yes I did see that on the wales recycling site but on the bristol one it says they don’t take Christmas paper at all |

"We wrapped ours in brown paper, it looked lovely and it’s all been recycled.
That sounds lovely actually "
It sounds a lot more authentic as well, maybe the route to go next year |
