India understood that Ann misgendering her was a mistake but twice is something deeper going on, however well-intentioned Amanda is. It's not the same as Amanda calling her wife he. It's a big deal to trans people, which goes to the core of their being and India was upset that a simple apology suggests it's not that big a deal. It minimised the weight of the hurt and the housemates weren't hearing it.
As for the wardrobe malfunction, why spend hours making yourself that fabulous only to ruin it with a cheap stunt? |

Shane J is doing more for transgender people than India. He's going out of his way to explain the differences between himself and India without being judgemental or trying to influence any opinions.

I only commented on his in another thread but India come on. She is just going over board. I don’t actually think she’s playing a game as if she was she would know what she’s doing is not the way to win. Air time for sure. But now not only has she all the other house mates against her she seems to have the whole country against her. Courtney / Shane is not only highly intelligent but has tried to embrace India and work with her. I feel India is a goner this Friday I do hope it doesn’t affect her career too much |

Many T folk wanted Paris Lees to go in. She'd have been a better advocate and I bet the guys would've had a much different reaction to her, seeing as she's bloody gorgeous.
Anyway, I get India's hurt, even if she hasn't been eloquent enough, and often she just wasn't having it justified, which curiously enough is what "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" was about: women just needing men to listen and justify the hurt, not always find a solution or think an apology will suffice. A gameplan? I always call bullshit when people talk about gameplans, because no matter how you think you'll play it, it's impossible to do it 24/7 over several days.
And Amanda calling India a liar because of Ann not liking tasks? Ex-fucking-scuse me? Her face has been tripping her every step of the way. Even when the guys were doing the club entertainment thing. And all of a sudden she's getting makeovers and softening her stance? Hello, gameplan, anybody? |

Nobdy is fancied by everybody. That's normal. What isn't normal is that it's so difficult for trans people to find LTR, because Genuwine's attitude is so common among men. There's no shortage, I assure you, of guys who will happily shag a trannie, TS or TV, as long as their mates don't find out. But a relationship? "No, no, no, nothing against trannies, more power to you all, etc etc, I'm not prejudiced, honest!"
So India's issue with Genuwine isn't just about him personally and has to be seen in the wider context. He was just unfortunate enough to have been the one to say what most of the other guys were thinking. |

Having said that however India’s response and subsequent storming off left the group unsettled , if she had of sat down and explained better in general like you have said it would have been entirely different. Unfortunatly many people’s impression of India is not so good now. Me included. I do see she has problems and has obviously had many issues with people accepting her for who she now is and thus she needs address this on her exit from the house. Courtney has explained a lot to the house on the various issues experienced by herself as a drag queen and also the Trans issues. And for me they make sense. For example. Courtney is making a living out of what she does. She embraces it. Plays with it and is open about her/ his sexuality. This has made me think about my own self description. I don’t know much about women’s make up and clothes but I’ve not seen that many women made up or dressed like that - it’s exaggerated femininity but best to hear from women and drag queens and see what they think. It may have been someone like Ru Paul who talked about way too much make up but can’t remember |

I don’t think she’s ‘fairly harmless’. I think that she is attention seeking and manipulative and underneath as tough as old boots. You don’t go through all the transgendered stuff if you’re a shrinking violet. She’s had loads of attention in CBB and even more over the last few hours and I’m sure they’ll be offers for an autobiography down the line - maybe even a boyfriend! |

I wanted her to stay as she's added a lot to the show. She's got a fair bit to learn and adjust to I think.
