Easter 2018

Wellingborough

If we were to turn the clock back just 4 days (or 96 hours if you prefer) I’m willing to bet that most of us were to be found slouching on our sofas with our bellies stuffed full of Christmas dinner.

Yes, that’s right, Christmas Day 2017 was just 4 short days ago.

So it is with near incredulous disbelief that I see that our local supermarket has filled it’s shelves with f***ing Easter eggs!!!

Sunday April 1st is still 92 full days away!

Really???? I mean, REALLY???

I despair.

Don’t even joke about that.

A couple of years ago I went into a card shop to buy a birthday card for the wife and two of the staff were busily filling the shelves with Christmas cards.

This was in the middle of August.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Where are you people shopping? I'm pleased that none of the shops I went in today had anything Easter out yet.

Wilko had the small Malteser mini selection boxes for 62p. I might go back tomorrow and buy a load for the food bank.
