Our first meet here, was a social meet..
The veris all said what a lovely genuine couple they were...
It transpired their photos were 10 years out of date..and ages on the profile in a similar manner..
And weren`t a married couple..as stated...
I wrote a veri...stating I was unhappy that we had been misled..and it was unfortunate that time had been wasted..and future meets deserved to be better treated..no insults or the like..
It never made their profile...no surprise there then...
Their feelings were not uppermost in my mind...

The veris all said what a lovely genuine couple they were...
It transpired their photos were 10 years out of date..and ages on the profile in a similar manner..
And weren`t a married couple..as stated...
I wrote a veri...stating I was unhappy that we had been misled..and it was unfortunate that time had been wasted..and future meets deserved to be better treated..no insults or the like..
It never made their profile...no surprise there then...
Their feelings were not uppermost in my mind...

That's exactly why we won't write veri's for people that are 5 star plonkers.... If we did, it'll say "5 star plonkers" and it'll never make their profile so there is no point.
One thing we won't do is lie and mislead like others do because they feel compelled to write a nice veri for someone just for turning up. |

off topic but it reminds me of my recent ebay experience.. my product never arrived, i waited 7 days after it was due to be delivered. I wrote to them, no reply so left negative feedback. They charged me for a product i never received, didn't dispatch it, and never replied. Post a packing charges were crap as nothing was posted..
a few days later i get an apology and offer of a refund. Then they asked me to review my ratings on them... i declined that offer to review it
If everyone puts 5 stars in there truly is no point to the system.. |

I tend to agree with Soapy that maybe we are just gentlemen of experience! But to defend the younger guys, I think I may well have been a bit more, Erm.. Raw when I was younger! Although bought up to have manners, I was also "jack the lad" and would have made comments in a way that portrayed me in that way. I have no doubt that some do think this is an easy way to get a shag (how wrong was that!! Lol) but there are some real nice genuine guys here too.
The other thing is the phrase No Strings Attached Fun. Because there is no emotional attachement, perhaps it is seen that there is no need to bother. A symptom of our own making? As you get older, views change and your approach becomes different. You start to see that politeness costs nothing and taking time over some tasks is tantamount to politeness…..
Having said that, this post by Iconic1 must apply to a good proportion…

In all honesty it wasn't meant to be a bad thing in relation to some younger guys. Even if they are using this site as a way of indulging in sex between partners, then we are all basically here for the same thing. When younger you don't put the same kind of importance to some things as you gain in maturity. So no doubt these young guys have a brill time, enjoy the company, but the day after move onto a new quest. Its nsa and its how it should be.
Older guys may feel the need to put into writing how good it was and that's fine too. The length and content of a veri is hardly a measure of how great a swinger we are |
