Fairly niche question this but we're an inclusive bunch!
I'm considering buying a new frame as my old one is, to put it bluntly, old as fuck. We're talking "classic" 80s Raleigh kind of old. I just want to get back out on the roll and the old Raleigh is a bit long.
I'm looking for something super cheap as I don't have the time to ride it enough to justify spending loads. Ideally not steel, so Aluminium or Carbon. Carbon forks for certain.
Any reviews, recommendations or suggestions?
Cheers

Giant do a great range of hybrid bikes for the road, I got the Rapid 1 back in 2014, it’s so light and extremely fast, ideal for long commutes to work which is what I mainly use it for. |

As you say super cheap that rules out a carbon frame. Don't be tempted to buy foreign imported frames that pretend to be something else as they've been proven to break or snap.
A good aluminium frame but I have recently got a steel one, yes it's heavier but absorbs the road a lot better and so much more comfortable.
Buy the best frame your money allows you |
