I'd be more impressed if you went ahead and did something you've always wanted to do. Get that model railway built. Don't forget to include a tunnel for euphemistic effect.

Most of what I say 'ruins' my Fab profile.

Why would you think it would ruin your 'Cred'? Opinions of total strangers would be so far at the back of my mind if I wanted to do something I've yearned to do.

Fab is full of a myriad of types of people, the chances are, someone has already done what you want, and may help you on your quest.

I have built model railways, and will do again when I have space! Got my first train set aged 11 and I am proud of my geek streak! I also knit, bake cakes and play in a wind band!

Me too, spent the last few days building Lego Star Wars sets I got for Christmas. And tomorrow I'm starting the sorting of two medium sized storage boxes of random piece's my cousin gave me.
