Would you rather be the first person to explore a planet or be the inventor of a drug that cures a deadly disease?

Drug inventor. I have no desire whatsoever to go to space or explore new planets.

Both are equally unlikely for me though

I would rather be the explorer, unless it was me who had the deadly disease, exploring whilst dead is not much fun!
