Just read about the snow in Birmingham... great to look at, a bugger for getting about in. I was also reading about Pennsylvania too having 54 inches of snowfall in a day... wow!

My Mum had a winter like that, before your time though in 1959 I think, I love the idea of being snowed in for a prolonged time but I guess the novelty would soon wear off.

I NEVER understand that... When we were kids we went to school snow or no snow... We're rearing a load of namby pamby wusses these days if you ask me... And it's still my opinion if you don't
