I've done two gammon joints, one plain one honey mustard I've got a ham in the fridge that has been drawing in my jerk seasoning for 24 hours, and my turkey is defrosting in the fridge.

Nothing to do tomorrow so I'm visiting some friends and family, then I'll get to work on my veg prep on Christmas Eve.

No Christmas pudding this year. No one likes it, so I'm going with a black forest gateau.

Where are you on preparation?

I'll peel and chop the spuds on Sunday. I'll do the carrots tomorrow. That's it. Just chuck it in pans/ oven on Monday morning.

I've taken my turkey out of the freezer today, that's it so far

I'm working until 10pm tomorrow and need to grab a few bits when I finish. My veg prep and baking will be done on Sunday.

Bedworth

We’ve grabbed our small suitcase from on top of the wardrobe. Will fill with clothes tomorrow afternoon and on Sunday morning will feed the cats and leave for the 3 hour drive to the in laws. Our neighbour will pop in to feed the beasts while we’re away and we’ll return home Boxing Day night.

It’s so relaxing not having to plan, shop, bake etc

I have to decorate three Christmas cakes, though I am contemplating making a sponge aswell and doing a two tiered cake for us this year.

I need to make mince pies and sausage rolls tomorrow as well as a Yule log.

Sunday, I will prepare all the veg and finish wrapping.

Never have I been so disorganised.
