I went to the chiropractor after years of not bothering after a car crash. Really helped me out with my neck, you don’t realise how bad it is until they do the movement exercises and you realised you’ve only got 60% movement
I go every 4 months or so now as maintenance, it’ll never be 100% but it certainly helps to keep on top of it.
I also go for a proper deep tissue massage every 4 weeks. Couldn’t recommend this any more to pretty much everyone!
You’ve got to look after yourself ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |

"Oh I think I meant chiropractor lol"
From my experience they’ll do an assessment on you first rather than just crack every bone in your body or “make an adjustment” as it’s called.
Would definitely recommend booking though, took about 4 or 5 sessions to sort my neck out. |

I have spent a fortune on the chiropractor over the years, due to a deteriorated L4 vertabrae. I was having physio on the NHS and it did nothing to help. In the end I had an MRI had an epidural a year ago and it worked wonders. I haven't had to go to the chiropractor since. |

Not particularly scientific but my auld dear regularly asks me to crack her back by giving her a big bear hug.....using the inside of my wrist to put pressure on her spine by squeezing n lifting at the same time.....seems to work most of the time, though one wrong move n could probably do more harm than good!
I can crack my own back by clasping my hands together low behind my back then arching n stretching them skywards....then crack my neck by simpl moving it from side to side.
Looks painful but feels great! ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |

a quandary, could you change my mind? |
The mystical art of the chiropractor, am told if you can find a good one they work wonders, I unfortunately found complete animals.. Was in more pain when I left and days after than when I went in..
still trying to find a decent osteopath in my new area... I'm sure I will. |

"Oh I’ve felt like my back needed cracking for weeks, it now goes into spasms daily. Doc says it’s muscular though. "
Think mime is muscular too. O usually go see a friend's husband who is trained in sports physio but he is off sick at the moment
I think I'm all wonky from my lower back downwards and that's what causes my hip pain and plantar fasciitis |

"My back is absolutely killing me.... Feels like it needs cracking. Any masseurs out there want to come do it for me?! "
I recommend visiting an Osteopath. Expensive but worth it. ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |
