I'm a pet mum and I've brought the dogs presents and wrapped them and they will be having a turkey dinner too. Am I really mad, or is there other fab owners pets just as spoilt?

Ha ha do you think I would get pooch a present ? Weave both written to Father Christmas too. I'm sure Pooch will find a full stocking gaming from the mantle piece

Same here. Ours have their own dog/santa bags and they will get the same Christmas dinner as us, less the onions, stuffing etc.. that dogs shouldn't eat.

something else to cross off my list!

Are you sure you’ve thought the turkey dinner through? Think of the aftermath

I have brought all our 7 presents. My daughter has been Santa Paws to them and turned her den into a grotto, with lights. She got dressed up and gave them all a toy and treats (she's 5) then she did it all over again for friends dogs. I've also bought them their Christmas dinner - but mum has decided to cook them a goose. I shit you not

My German Shepherd will be having presents and Christmas dinner as he does every year, just like everyone else in the family. Because that's what he is, family.

I love my dog to bits

But ... he's a dog

No Christmas gifts

His bonus is he gets 'Dad' at home for a few days so extra play, extra walks and extra cuddles

Remember, a dog is not just for Christmas, with careful planning enough should be left over for Boxing Day!

From the way they have been abusing my tree and Xmas ornaments I think my cats are heathens and lacking in the Yuletide spirit. I have a nice paw shaped stocking I get out each year and pop some catnip toys in there for them. Being cats, they show no gratitude but then you don’t give to receive.

My cats have birthday presents, gifts from holidays, special treats when they’re not well, if I cook chicken I have to cook them some too ... they’re truly pampered kitties 365 days of the year!!

Crazy cat lady here

Mine hasn’t got any presents yet because I’ve not started for Christmas but she does have a Santa outfit and a reindeer one.

Aw I bet she looks cute. She is rather a pretty girl though. I got mine a Santa hat the other week - the scratches are healing quite nicely now

Our 2 cats will get offered lots of turkey and ham, they will probably refuse to eat it out of their food dishes and beg for some off our plates instead.

They will probably get a few prawns and maybe a tiny bit of cream even though it is bad for them.

There is a never ending supply of dreamies in our house anyway so no extras there.

We have bought them a new catnip mouse each. They are very fussy about what they will play with so no point in buying anything other than their favourite kind.

My pet Turkey keeps looking at me suspiciously and the Chickens are giving him a wide berth.

My cats don't get presents (they get bought stuff all year round) but the baubles and lametta on the tree are much appreciated I'm sure they'll also enjoy at least a small part of the Christmas Day seafood feast (because they'll yowl until they get some) ...

No you're not mad OP, they are part of the family so why not buy them presents? My last dog enjoyed the wrapping paper more than the presents, my current dog isn't fussed about the paper but loves the treats. I get her a special doggy stocking and Santa Paws brings a couple of bits as well. She also gets a special dog-friendly Christmas dinner.
