What's made you happy today?

For me it's the wonderful people that donate to food banks and the people that work in them and offer this service.

Knowing my luck I'll get the tin with no labels that contain dog food.

Be grateful for what you have people, you never know when it could be you in need. And rather than bitch and moan about gifts you receive that you don't like, give them to a charity or someone in need, and stop being a selfish fucker.

They’re a great thing and do so much more than just give a food parcel. It’s a gift of hope and that even in today’s very insular society that goid still exists and we will look after the people in need. I always try to drop a few things in the collection tubs at the supermarket, it might not be named stuff but it’s still something.

You never know when you’re going to need the charity, I’m lucky I have my mom to help me otherwise I’d be knocking on their door.

Merry Christmas pp I hope you have a lovely day and some nice surprises in your package x

A few of us did two food bank runs to the supermarket last year, it’s amazing how much you can get when you shop sensibly, once we’d filled a couple of trolleys we filled the rest of the space with chocolate bars I think we managed to completely fill 4 trolleys.

It’s always good to see the food bank collection is quite full at the supermarket we use.

Some of the people I’ve met on here make me smile.

I have raised money at work to buy things for the food bank, they were so grateful. Such a worthy cause.

I hope you have a great Christmas pp, you make me smile

Beyond the shadows.

Our director walked in dressed as an elf with lots of chocolates this morning. That made me smile.

Giggling is good for the soul.

What do Santa's helpers learn at school?

The Elfabet.

I'm my own worst enemy. I won't ask individuals for help, I don't mind seeking help from a charity though.

Thank you for a wonderful offer, just a friendly ear is perfect. Xxxx

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

I am smiling because the guys I work with had a whip round and bought me a gift in light of my recent problems..

They didn't have to and the gift they got me was wholly inappropriate.. but I would expect nothing less from them.

It was just great to know that they care and, well, they had me welling up when one made his speech.
