Donald Trump is being mocked again. This time for holding a glass with both hands while drinking water.
I think he's an utter dick but I feel like all the piss taking is getting a bit much. He's still a human being.
Attack his policies and 'isms but personal stuff is bullying- isn't it?

I haven't seen what's been said, but I did notice the two hands on the glass and commented on it. I wondered if it was to stop a shake or something.
Let's not have to much sympathy though. Remember how he took the piss out of the reporter with a disability? |

I think what he is doing to black/gay/trans/muslim/disabled/sick people in America right now is a bit worse than being taunted about holding a glass with 2 hands |

"Could be worse could be in a nuclear war with Russia which was gonna happen with Hillary, better of two evils in this situation
How did you come to that conclusion?"
I assume the conclusion was arrived at by the fact that Mrs Clinton is possibly the most vile human being that could have wielded a job that powerful since Hitler and Vladimir Putin is almost as bad??

how awfully judgemental of you all.
i like everything he's done so far and shock horror! a politician who actually tries to carry out what he said in his mandate.
build your wall
pull out the paris agreement
and tell it like it is.
wish we had a leader like the yanks. |

The wall isn't built.
Trump pulled out of the Paris agreement but 20 states and 50 cities have said they'll keep to it anyway. So maybe a half success at best.
'tell it like it is' - meaningless phrase. |

I would hardly call it bullying, if as the President of arguably the most powerful nation on earth, you can't handle having the piss ripped out of you occasionally, then you're not fit for purpose really |

Left wing people are more creative than right-wing people, on average. Therefore it's not surprising they come out with the better put downs, on average. Protesting makes them feel better about the fact that they are less hard working, on average. It's easier to come up with witty insults than actually do the hard work on making change. |

Quite frankly, there is plenty to attack in Donald Trumps politics without stooping to petty, personal insults. I always think that says as much about the person doing the insulting as it does about the victim.
Trump may have used similar ad hominem tactics himself but two wrongs don't make a right. |

There is a big difference between teasing and bullying, the former is generally about bringing a bit of banter and humour to an otherwise healthy and equal relationship, it is usually mutual and not intended to hurt.
Bullying is designed to upset, attack the other person, it is based on an assumed more powerful position of the bully and it has no other purpose than to make the bully feel better about himself by ridiculing and attacking the perceived weaker, inferior other.
Teasing is fun, can be flirty and has a good feel factor about it.. in my books. Bullying is immoral and unethical and should be stamped out.
That aside,I can to some degree understand why and how trump got in...(I am not defending him and I would never ever have voted for him).
I struggle to understand why and how people are still defending him - this is, to go back to the teasing and bullying part of the thread, the man who said about a female celebrity he was not going to meet her as she "was bleeding from her face" following facial surgery. |

"Not trying to defend Trump but..why it's wrong to hold a glass with 2 hands?"
They're taking the piss saying he looks like a toddler. Or a squirrel. |
