KIDLINGTON

I loved my Commodore 64. We all played games as a family and had many good times with it...

The sad thing being my mum used to at it more than I did.

Desborough

Action Man Armoured Car as it was large enough inside to hold all my spare Action Man Accessories and uniforms for when I wasn't playing with it.

Oh that really did make me laugh. Did your parents not like you then? "Here son ,Merry Christmas, take this and go shoot yourself, weve not got enough roasties to go round this year"

Love it.

My first Airfix model aeroplane. It's a hobby that's stuck with me since that day, it's brought me much joy, time passing, and creativity.

Didn't it always shoot off the track and scare the cat?

Oi! I corrected that! I meant by myself..rather than just topping myself.

My dad was smarter than than anyhow, would have been a spade first so I could have dug myself a big hole and save him a job

No...you have to slowly build up the pressure on the trigger till you got your speed up to a maximum before it would flip off and just hold it there

My Barbie motorhome when I was seven. It looks so basic now but I loved it and played with it for hours and hours.

And it made noises and lights.

I got some great toys as a kid but I think my favourite was my Sega Mega Drive. I've never looked forward more to a Christmas than that one. I remember literally counting down the days for like a couple of months before. I played it all through Christmas and my thumbs were nearly falling off by the end of the holidays. Happy times

Actual roller boots at the backend of the seventies! All the other kids on my block had the metal ones that attached to your shoes so I was like 'Hey, check out my wheels losers...'

I still remember the utter elation I felt when I finally got one of those Mr Frosty slushie maker things (mid 1980s) - it was the crappest thing ever but I sooooo wanted it!

This is probably going to sound a bit boring but hand on heart, the present I yearned for most and was elated when I received it was a huge tin of 'grown up' artist's watercolour pencils which I'd coveted for months. These let me draw properly!

One my favorites would have to be Rude Ralph (google it). It was an ugly head with a pull string eye, that made rude noises as it pulled back into the eye socket. I think I still have somewhere, I need to go check.

My Walkman with The Marshall Mathers LP

Mum told me I couldn't have it for months so I used to go around to my friends to listen to it almost everyday and then she bought me both things for Xmas... happiest day of my life
