What can you easily ignore on Fab?
I can ignore spelling peoples crazy preferences, and other things. But, I was tought that ignoring something is almost agreeing with it if you don't speak up.
So what is it you can't ignore when you spot it on the forums or around Fab in general?
Me...generalisation, i hate it. Eg, men are cunts.
Let's clarify, men are cunts. The certain people you refer to are the ones who have treated you badly, it's probably less than what you think it is.
(I only use that example as it's popped up recently, but generally, it's this) |

Been here long enough and nothing surprises me anymore so learnt to ignore most things now.
One thing that I will never understand is when a cheater says it just happened, I didn't mean it to hapoen....nope it was your choice. End of...
Even worse when their partner is ill and is now depending upon then. Giving then a Christmas present with kids looking on in a week is a double edged sword. |

It all depends on my mood
I can usually ignore most of it.
But recently I've bitten back about things that are a complete waste of my time

Regretting saying something when you could have ignored it....I can relate to that. |

I can ignore most things now. Not a lot gets me riled. I tend to avoid the forums if I'm feeling particularly pissed off, as I don't want to start something that I will later regret. It's not worth the drama. Time has taught me that. Though some messages I get can be a little annoying and sometimes, I have to respond..... |

People who call others attention seekers, I mean why the hell would you not want to get any attention on a site like this? |

I can ignore most things apart from cheating threads.
They really grind my gears. And it's not so much the fact that they're cheating (because it's their life and not my business) it's the poorly executed attempts at justification of said cheating and making their cheating known to a wider audience.
In my eyes, you can't really justify it, because i'm a firm believer in if you truly loved someone, you just wouldn't do that to them. Not just the physical side, but the emotional side of it, the secrets etc.
And that may seem incredibly narrow minded and short sighted to some, but in MsValiant's World, where Butterflies, flowers and Unicorns play in buttercup filled fields, that is just how i feel. Romantic nonsense and guff, maybe. But i see love as the shining beacon of light and cheating as some twat coming along and pouring water all over my beacon.
Someone drag me off my soapbox quick!!
Bet you you wish i'd avoided this thread Misterbee! |

I've found I can ignore most things on here and indeed all Internet forums. There really is no point saying much, as nobody listens, they just shout louder. So you might as well ignore! |

I generally can't ignore offensive generalisations , racism , sexism, homophobia
I'm also rather bad at ignoring imagination touted as knowledge
Ie fairies have 3 genders live to 327 years their wings turn translucent every third Wednesday x

I think people who whinge about having a lot of messages to go through would be an example of the kind of attention seeking we could do without. Like we get it. Just mass delete and bog off lol. |

I don't let anything annoy me now, I used to.. life is too short for getting upset due to another's comments.. life is a also too short to massage cheese, life lesson learnt yesterday.
I do tend to harass the grammar Nazis when ever I spot one of their posts. I find some of their comments very intolerant and slightly insulting. |

I can ignore that (or not get involved) simply because most posters with bad spelling or grammar can hold their own, and are ignoring them aswell |

Being a happy smiley bundle of fun I don't let much get to me from here, absolutely no point! Fab is just real life condensed into a Web page of horny perves, so just as I'll walk away from things that annoy in real life, I'd do the same here
Annoy me and I'll fill your inbox with unicorns and fairy dust or just switch off and go have a wank...

I can ignore most things on here. Especially all the 'oh we are so close friends....I think the world of you' type of crap that gets posted. Minor detail ...the majority have never even met and would not give each other the time of day in the real world.....but they are so close ffs. |

Forums posts that are full of bitterness and anger, and it's often the same people on the same old subjects.
If threads bother people so much that they get themselves wound up by it, why do they comment? Yes, (before the brigade jump on us) we know everyone has a right to comment on whatever they wish to, but It's a form of self destruction for those people when they are very obviously upset by certain subjects.
What's more it's portrating themselves in a very bad light, then some of these people wonder why they are single. |

We should of said that this doesn't bother us and there isn't much at all on Fab that would annoy us. Our point was that people are obviously getting very wound up on here. It's totally unnecessary. |
