Inspired from the other thread going, i'm wondering why people shave/trim/leave it natural?
I think the majority will be because of modern trends and its now 'uncool' to be as nature intended us to be. If no body had open spoke about shaving, or no one had seen pictures/porn would people shave it off?
When i was a teenager and my body was changing i saw the pubic hair growing as i was turning into a woman and embraced it. It was only my friends saying 'ewww its dirty' that i got rid of it. I'm now back to being au natural and i don't smell any worse than i did before.
a 23yr old with pubic hair.. think i'm a rarity :D

When i was a teenager i though there was something wrong with me cos i had hairs on my fanny, then i saw my brothers porn mags and saw women with hairy ones too. I have had a lot of men saying to me that they like it, the ones who dont, dont have to contact me do they. I do find it a turn on when i see it on other women. Although im not bi. I just like looking. One lady news reader said she doesnt shave hers, she hasnt got the time, and another woman in the paper said she doesnt, and didnt know anyone who did. not at all is it dirty... its all down to personal hygene at the end of the day.
fully shaved i guess can be nice. but i just think that it looks to bare and some hair never looks strange to me. |

I dont like a lot of pubic hair never have i first shaved when i was 14 but let it grow back in my 20s. I prefer a small covering although cant beat the feeling of freshly smooth shaved.
Lots of pubic hair would be a turn off for me just cause i dont like the look of it |

Lots of pubic hair no.
Shaved or trimmed is the preference. As some girls nothing worse than oral sex also being a flossing session.
Currently shaved here, as have a new body groomer shaver and wanted to see how good, but generally go for trimmed.
As for cleanliness, on guys you still need to wash well, cheese anyone, no thank you. |

Im not saying going back to a full bush is the way to go but a neat little landing strip I like all neat and tidy away from the flaps having been veeting for years but the last few months I have let a little grow back and I like it and the feell very sexy. |

Its hard enough forcing waxed dental floss between tooth gaps with both hands when flossing...

I do find it sexy if guys have some pubic hair but I don't like big bushy growing halfway up the cock kind of pubic hair. I don't like out of control wiry pubic hair, like worzel gummidge's hair around the base. That really puts me off. Trimmed is nice.
I shave myself and keep the skin moisturised so I don't tend to feel stubble. My OH trims closely.
I've never had a landing strip. I've seen some ladies who are dark haired with a perfectly straight dark landing strip and it reminds me of a vertical Hitlers moustache |

I think it's up to people whether to shave or not, but it seems to me that the whole shaving thing is largely fashion. Pubic hair says 'adult' to me so there's nothing wrong with that in my book, and I don't condem or judge either way.
And as for the 'pubic hair' in the teeth issue? Never had that problem. |

Can't remember when I was young wanting to shave it off and never discussed it with my friends. Now I keep it trimmed right down and shave when I know I'm going to play as I much prefer it that way, hate hairy and if it comes back into fashion I will stick with smooth. I have a brazillian with just a little strip left. My waxer asked if I wanted it all off last night and I just couldn't bring myself to do it. It seems too childlike to me. Maybe I'll give it a go one day but not liking the idea at the moment.

I feel like a rarity these days in that I much, much prefer unshaven or trimmed women. Shaven really doesn't do it for me, though I'm not really on a position to be choosy these days!!!
I've seen a t-shirt that says "bring back hairy pussies" - thinking of getting it!

going back to what started us shaving/trimming as teenagers...I dont remember feeling it was dirty having pubes, just very uncomfortable in me knickers when the pubes became too long. So was previously hedge strimming!! Since discovering swinging i have succumbed to totally shaving, mainly cos oral feels so nice and slippy on smooth lips!!! I like the idea of a neat landing strip, but when ive tried to do it, its looked a bit wobbly!!

I really don't get the whole "It's a sign of a woman" thing!
If any man was to look at Mrs R (shaven) and had thoughts of anything other than a woman, he would be out the door! (apart from the fact he probably wouldn't be here anyway! We don't meet just anyone..)
We both shave and prefer our playmates to be at least heavily trimmed, preferably shaved! Just because we have this preference, it doesn't mean we have a penchant for underage, pre-pubescent partners! We just like the look and feel and the not getting hair in the mouth!
In our experience, most men will say what they think you want to hear. If they meet a shaved/trimmed woman, they say they like it! If they meet Mrs Au’natural, that will be good as well.
