More of a curse I would imagine, we all have different pain thresholds, but you feel pain for a reason. If you can't feel any pain whatsoever, how could you possibly know if something is wrong with you? |

Totally agree, pain is a warning sign to take action. |

Read a book recently and the main character couldn’t feel pain. Even though it was fiction it seemed well researched. He had to check himself all over every single night before he went to bed to look for signs of illness and infection from the whites of his eyes to to soles of his feet because he had not warning signs that there was anything wrong. This was brought about by him not realising he’d had an infected wisdom tooth that became so bad he woke up with his face swollen and sepsis so bad it could have killed him. As I say, it was fictional but made me think how not feeling any pain is not a good thing at all |
