"It’s their overinflated opinion of their heroicism"

that's possibly true for a very small number as it will be for police and military etc..

to the vast majority its a job, end of..

I have no attraction to them and anyone in a uniform. The uniform is just a tool to help me do my job and I don’t find it sexual at all

Lmao really? Im ex-forces and work for the emergency services.. Nothing ive done is heroic... At the time you do what has to be done and after you realise what could of happend if things went the other way.

Personally id pay good money to see most people do half the crap ive had to do and see if they would even step up to the mark let alone do what needs to be done....all you have to do is go on YouTube to see not even 1% of the abuse, crap, violence, threats taken by emergency service staff and yet they still do the job they are paid to....heroism, nah just doing the job we want to do and trying to save as many lives as we can

A lot of women like the idea of a hero who could sweep them off their feet and some go for the uniform.

Having known a few women whose husbands were in the fire service the mystery was somewhat removed for me. Although I admire them very much for the job they do along with members of the other emergency services I'm no more attracted to them than anyone else.

This is a true reflection tbh and the abuse is vile

we had some last year at ours due to a small incident (not related to my cooking).

They were all very tall and broad. The main man was an older gent who had white hair and he was so tall, handsome and broad i felt like throwing myself at him.
