How are those of us who follow the old ways celebrating this year?

We will start feasting on the 17th with friends over and watching the morris fire festival, then shamanic drumming in the solstice and open house for friends and family until new year

I’ll be having a traditional Victorian Christmas, sending young children up the chimney and sticking pins in their feet until it’s as clean as a whistle.

I'll send any left overs down stairs to the workers the day after my celebrations with my friends.

I'm not a traditionalist I celebrate only the party of Christmas and this year to make it even more different with someone else's family how alternative is that ,I will not be greedy ,I may drink a little but I will enjoy it ,the Ops celebrations seem interesting but once again alternative but hope you have a lovely time do you make all your gifts out of interest ?

Last year all the gifts I sent out we're hand made but this year I'm working too much to have time, but Yule isn't really about the gifts (although the kids would disagree lol), it's about spending time with loved ones, keeping warm and sharing food during the darkest days and celebrating the return of the lighter nights and regrowth.
