Saw it this morning and loved it.
So many nods and call backs to original trilogy. You can that Dameron is likely to become the new leader of the resistance.
He has the hot head fly boy of Han, but tries to do the right thing as per Leia
It is clear that Rey is on her way to be come a Jedi, I wonder if anyone noticed the Jedi books on the falcon.
Also loved how yoda and Luke had that chat, very like obiwan and yoda in Rotj, and it was good to see yoda teasing Luke
Loved the fight sequence with Rey and Ren, it was awesome to see the blue and red lightsaber working in tandem against the praetorian guard
Not sure where Finn and rose are going but it will be a good place I think

An ok film but not the masterpiece it’s been touted as.
Rehash of the original trilogy in one film with about 2 thirds of a Disney cartoon shoehorned in, wtf was with the ice dog things? May as well have had lassie in a space suit
In the interest of fairness I was disappointed that Disney on buying the rights threw the extended universe built up over 20 years by some talented authors out of the window.

I’d bet a good portion of my salary they are twins or at least brother & sister dramatically revealed in the last film.
Proper original storyline that one 
I’m actually developing a Lukewarm affection for episodes 1 & 2 in response to this film

I'm not a fan of this new trilogy, it's just watering down the originals. Makes me have a new appreciation for the prequel trilogy, clunky as they are at least Lucas was trying to expand things a bit instead of rehashing what has gone before.
As for Poe being some sort of new Han solo - my arse! How many people died because of his impulsiveness in this film? I would have expected someone to frag him or make a shiv and take him out before anymore of his bright ideas wipe out half the rebels  |

Its a paint by numbers film with too many throw away characters. Snoke could have really been built into an interesting character utilising wider star wars cannon material yet this super powerful force fielder is killed so easily. The code cracker was a poor watered down version of Lando Calrissian - I could go on. |
