If they kill Rick off I'm not watching again as it's essentially his story...think the recent shock development a huge error even tho I don't much like the character...kind of kills the message of hope I think. |

agree used to be on edge of seat just waiting for this to start , now bit action first 5 minutes and maybe same at end and a cliffhanger last episode now theres nowt much inbetween

That's due to them not having the budget. They used to do simple edits over large areas of deserted land. They were told to drop them as they cost too much.
The "arty" editing is cheaper. For years walking dead had no budget at all, the actors were on next to nothing, rick used to do it for really cheap to help out. They all get paid better now, but there is still no budget for the shots like they had earlier on.

they did that to show anyone can be killed off to bring some tension back into it. Without giving a spoiler there are other people we can hope survive. |

How do you mean? they have explored what 4 or 5 new groups this season and last. Maybe it bores you when they are exploring these other groups because rick and daryl are not in it, but there has never been so much going on in walking dead as there is now. |

Actors leave shows, if Lincoln decided he's had enough then Rick may be killed off.
There are certain characters that do annoy me and they have over saturated the amount of main characters on the show which may disconnect viewers from the group a little. I have a feeling the numbers will be thinned out from now till the end of series. |

lad give over go back 2 or maybe 3 series there was lots of action , now just seems to slow to get minutes on the episodes this and the last series dont seem to have much action as of now , was reading the stats they were broke down and shows how slow its getting .and tbf theres more than just rick and daryl. |

I'll stick with it out of sheer bloody-mindedness, but yes, the past couple of seasons have been disappointing. This first half season has way to many dreamy, 'arty' characters shots, too much long-winded, pointless and plotless, delivered dialogues, and not enough 'walker action'. I no longer seem to 'care' that much about most of the characters either, in fact i hope some of them will soon become dinner!!
And how come after all this time, the characters can't shoot for toffee??  |

I'll still watch it but I don't think it's as good anymore. Even the twist at the end, I like that not every character is safe but still just not as excited for it like I am with other shows |
