The programme that was on TV late last night (Tuesday ) - did anyone else think it showed the porn industry to be a really seedy business populated by a variety of unsavoury exploitative people and some people who must be due on Jeremy Kyle soon? |

Show name and channel? Might be able to watch it on catch-up.
Some parts of the porn industry will be seedy, run by people to make money and that is all, e.g. the scams that are the Sky channel 900+ channels.
UK sex shops = rip off unless they have changed a lot, at least in Europe you don't feel like you need a shower after being in one. Maybe they've improved since I last went in a UK one.
The positive areas I see are those where women work for themselves to produce the content.
Important distinction the porn industry does not include the swinging community in my opinion. That community I have found to be very friendly and vastly different to my experience of the adult/porn industry.

The key word is 'business'. The people running them are in it to make money, be it amateur, professional or any old tat.
Look around on the internet, porn shops etc and they all want a few quid from you in one way or another.
The true amateur/home made films and pics are swapped between genuine couples into the same kind of things.

It was called Amateur Porn and was on the Really channel - one guy had videoed his girlfriends and was then releasing a DVD with a compilation of them on it. One girl he met when she was 14 and he was 30 odd - when she was 16 they moved in together and started making porn - I thought that was what 'grooming' was but not 100% - made my skin crawl ! |

Sex with a 16 year old is OK in eyes of law, but any video/photos of her naked are breaking the law.
In theory people with old copies of page 3 when models were sometimes 16/17 could be banged up now with current law in place.
