So I'm doing secret santa at work and well I got the lady beers and wine because I know she'd want that, however I'm also intending on getting one of these but my budget is only around £30-40 and I haven't the slightest idea about what good what's what etc

Are you sure she'd appreciate a sex toy she may think it's sexual harassment.

If it's a joke, not to be.used, you don't need to spend £30-40 or which is best? Just get a chocolate cock for a couple of quid? But be careful, what you think is innocent fun can turn bad.

Do you mean the managers said you all had to buy sex toys for each other?

Or did they just say do a secret santa?

And in your next job interview when they ask why you left your last job, that could be an awkward conversation

You'll be able to get a reasonably good toy from Ann Summers for £30. For £40 they'll probably wrap it too.

I'd agree with all the other posters about whether that's a suitable gift in the workplace though.

They might not have been serious.

Ha. You might have a case against the manager for suggesting it then.

For future reference op a dildo goes inside and a vibrator is usually for use on a woman's clitoris but can be used all over...wherever it feels good basically.

In general it's never a good idea to get a gift like that if you don't know for sure that the person will find it amusing or if it's going to to be opened publicly. People will sometimes suggest it jokingly if the person would find it embarrassing not realising that you might take it seriously. Of course I don't know but don't risk it.

They do, and 2 years ago, it may possibly have been acceptable. 10 years ago it would have been funny.

In 2017 there needs to be no possible sexual connotation to antics outside of a relationship in the work place.
