I don't know if its just me, but is it not just a waste of time to wink someone if your not going to talk you them even if they send you a message after wink is sent?

No people can do what they like, I have no objection to those that winks, it means I can check out their profile and either wink back or message if I am interested. I object more to those who request friendship without bothering to read the profile first and not only don't I accept them without knowing the person first, if they don't fit what I am interested in, I just delete so for them a pointless exercise |

To the OP. Try and see if there is a pattern to their winking.
I use the wink system to communicate to people using a rudimentary form of morse code that I like to call 'rudimentary wink morse code' code. |

Sometimes people send winks by mistake, especially if they're using a laptop with a wandering cursor. I've done it myself, but if I send one in error I always send a PM saying it was an error. If we fancy them we'd say so.
If someone sends us a wink we will wink back.
If there's no response after that we'll just delete the wink and forget about it.
Sometimes you get a wink then a friends request but no message.
We'll never accept this approach. If they're too shy to message, how do they expect to meet? |
