What are people’s plans for new year?

Club parties or street parties.

I’ve not made plans yet and have the first week off so may go somewhere in Europe for it.

Townhouse for us... cant wait... we cannot sit in the house another year and watch fireworks on the tele.. just can't do it!

All five kids and us were going to my parents but as the car won’t make it that far anymore, 3 are going there and 2 are coming here (can’t get all 5 in our room!). We might be taking them to a local family pub to see the new year in. Next year we don’t have any kids so maybe we might go out lol.

Just looked ate your location.... Is that Irlams o' th' Height? My mum is from th'Height - and Irlams has one of the best place names in Britain, IMO.....

Hate new year.

Too many people out so I grow an actual beard waiting to order a drink.

I have a shave and then grow another beard waiting for a taxi home.

And you have to pay in to places that you don't have to pay in for normally.

I'm the new year equivalent of Scrooge.

This is what annoys me. Not so much now as don’t go out as much as a use to but places would ramp up prices even though I’ve been most weekends in a ywar
