I'm okay with horror until I find myself in a dark alley or the like then all of a sudden I remember all those gory movie scenes in similar areas....and that scares the shit out of me.  |

I prefer scaring myself with stuff from Creepy Pasta etc.
Maria Lombard (though it's an illusion)
And La Pascualita and other odd world anamolies.
