If you meet someone on a couple of occasions do you re verify them every time?
Would you only display the most recent or all of them?
When does re verification start to look weird? |

Do what you want, I show them all, but stop taking verifications for sex meets off the same people.
*Maybe this thread should be in the swinging advice forums. * |

Your right. That's why I always post here among with hundreds of others. It's a lottery if someone feels it needs to be moved or not.
Imagine if we moved every quesion the lounge forum ever had.
Anyhoo, it's a debate that's endless to what you should display in your profile. It's personal. Those in their high horses will tell you one thing, and then you'll here other views.
What you think is right, someone will think your wrong. |

No. Well, unless there's been considerable time (like a year or so) between meets. I don't see or understand the need to - it won't encourage more people to meet said person by doing so. It's more of a way of stamping a mark I think. |

It's not really a lottery. I'm pretty good at knowing if it will be moved or not. |

I don't know. In six odd years (and having met and spoken with quite a few people to say the least) I've rarely heard or read of people being more interested in meeting someone after they receive constant reverifications - the opposite in fact.
So how do I know? An opinion based on constant confirmation bias, much like any other. Not 100% it's accurate but enough for me to go on. |

Enough for you to go on. That's the key sentance, your opinion as a forum user. And let's not forget, we're not perfect and don't know everything do we?

Totally agree. If I see profiles like this I'm put off as it feels there would be drama attached if I were to play with that person... and I hate drama.
In answer to the OP I think one verification is fine. |

Of course it's my opinion as a forum user - that's who I am posting as. Perhaps I didn't include enough 'I think' and 'in my opinion' in my original post but it's fairrrrly obvious (to me at the very least) that if you post something without citing statistics, you're giving your opinion on a matter especially when in the OP, she asks 'when does it look weird?' inviting opinions.
Meh. Sorry OP for slight derailment of your topic! |

Meh? (never understood what that means in this site, I feel it's a put down)
It's this bit - ''it won't encourage more people to meet said person by doing so. " from your first post.
It sounded like the websites rules and not your opinion. Sorry, I just wanted clarification, hopefully staying on topic. |

Perhaps if you didn't single out one sentence and read the whole thing it might help. Then again, how you choose to interpret the written word is your choice - if you want to see it as being the site rules crack on.
Meh is like a shrug of the shoulders. A nonchalant kind of 'there's little point in explaining this really' sort of expression. |

I try to get one veri a year, just to prove that I'm still alive and all that. Oh hang on, I've been to 2 lounge socials this year
Seriously though, I tend to not write or display multiple veris off people. Surely it's like reading the same book twice? |

I tend to see reverification like a claim on that person, wanting others to know that its become a regular thing and theyre likely to be sticking around a while. |

Exactly.
Sexual verifications are seedy at best, anyway, without multiple ones from the same person. |

I think if you have a social, then a follow up meet a second veri is OK.
But multiple veris, odd.
I used to see someone weekly & he'd leave one everytime, even if we'd had a social night, I then felt I had to leave one in return.
I didn't publish several, hid a couple of others & he actually got annoyed about it.
Explained I didn't think it was doing either of us 'any favours'
He blocked me for a month! |

But don't forget the person doesn't need to display the verifications. The fact they choose to do so, also says a lot about them. Imo |

Definitely just one veri per person not per meet. You are just verifying that they are genuine, you don’t have to keep doing it, you’ve done it once already, the verification system is not a personal diary of your fucks. |

I have thought about this in the past . I only show mine for a short time after a meet. And as I like to have a social first I do think it may look like all I do is social meets! If they don't do another after we have met again ! |

I’ve done veris for people more than once. Mainly because they’ve closed their profile and then opened another...
But If someone I’ve met more than once wants another I’ll do it.

To be honest, the whole verification system is mad. They should simply be a tick box to say the person(s) is real and they turned up. That's it really.
The whole gory details isn't really necessary and a person I find nice, friendly or whatever you might think are complete arseholes.
The people we meet regularly, we never verify them and they never us. |

I verify each time unless asked not to, and I like to recieve one each time as it shows I meet people more than once.
I'm looking for people who want to meet regular so 24 meets by 24 people (or other number!) is a bit off putting for me, that's my preference. |

If someone doesn’t show my veri I am not upset.
There maybe a reason, maybe not in to me or they sometimes play with single guys and don’t actively advertise this or they don’t want to advertise social meets

I'm hit and miss about verifications, (L loves them, well the bits about her) part of me says what's it to do with others, part says they give a little insight, so I might keep a repeat up, just for the insight it gives. |

No point in verifying every single time.
But, we have put on repeat veris, because we think they are useful in showing that the first one wasn't just words, that we were actually worth coming back to for another play, same goes for the people we met.
So, we'll do a repeat veri now and then. |

In hull it seems to be the done thing to get a verification after every group social or party. Its fine if you need a veri to prove you’re genuine but personally after every time i find its just too much.
If I have a long term lover then I may follow up with another if they’d like a more recent one or you’ve had a particularly good or special time |
