Anyone else hate deliberate misspellings like norty, nawty or gawjus? Bet there’s loads more I can’t think of right now. I’m not sure if they count as text speak or not but I just wonder why people use it and not the real spelling. I just think when I see it in a profile - is that a sign I’ve turned into a grumpy old woman?!! |

I not fussed about deliberately misspelled words, I tend to use misspellings myself, usually when I step into my cockney banter..
What really gets up me bugle is lol.. dunno why, it's like a red rag to a bull.... |

I see it as lazy. Hate it, I always think that if people can't make the effort to spell properly then what else in life can they not make the effort with.
Tom thinks I'm picky, but it's the little things for me. |
