Not in my experience, as my name suggests I always treat people well but it never gets any further. Offline I do well but not here. Endless dick pick profiles with loads of swearing on seem to do well despite the ladies saying that's not what they want. Maybe I'm just getting old who knows

No not numbers they do well with the ladies who I choose (Hopefully that answered both your questions if I explained it right). The ladies tell me I'm different because I'm "nice" and that they don't want the dick pick swearing types but they are the types in their veri's yet I can't seem to get a meet with them.
And please don't misunderstand me I am more than confident within myself and my abilities and don't need or want anyone's pity, this post is far from a woe me. I'm happy with my life just a tad confused regarding this subject however I thank you for your input. |

Definitely not. I much prefer gent to a bad boy. I like men who show women respect and treat them nicely. It's important to me that they are considerate to my needs and wants and have a caring attitude towards me.
He does however have to be a gent in public but naughty in private though.

It always works out better in the end to be nice... sometimes it feels like it’s pointless and people take advantage of your niceness but in the end it’s always better |

Be a gentleman, treat women as you would wish your mother, daughter, or sister to be treated, and treat men as you would want your father, son or brother to be treated.
Hold the door for her. Not because she's a woman, but because it is the courteous thing to do.
Nice guys only finish last when they can't distinguish between nice, and door mat

I have always considered myself a gentleman, and I dont think it has ever gone against me. Respect, courtesy, manner cost nothing but can also be priceless.
I like to think of myself as someone a lady would like their mother to meet, but due to the antics in the bedroom, their father would be mortified 
Never lower your morals or standards just to compete with someone who isnt at your level. |

I alway try and be a gent, yet it doesn't really work very well for me. However, I suspect that being less mannered would end up with a similar outcome just with me having less respect for myself.
I'm fairly comfortable on the fact that I'm a bit of an oddball and a very aquired taste so tend to just get on with being me. |

I take great pride in being a gentleman and it's never had a negative effect that I can see. Manners truly do maketh the man and courtesy and politeness should be expected in my opinion... A lady should always be treated as such and normally approves highly of my doing so.
The only exception would be when it is more fitting to regress to a more primitive, beastly nature and give in to my urges to take woman and mate... And when this happens a lady always seems to approve highly of this also, after all it is she who brings out the rutting stag inside the civilised man...  |

totally this, if you have to make an effort to be a gentleman or a bad man. You are going to be tripping over your own false persona before the starting gun is even loaded.
You are what you are, and hopefully that includes giving respect where it is due, and tempering contempt where that is due by avoiding those people rather than pointing out their flaws in an attempt at a popularity contest.

Well I’m guessing that you are attracted to women who like dick pics and swearing. Perhaps start to consider women who don’t have dick pic and swearing types on their verifications. Look for women who have guys like yourself on their verifications. You maybe pleasantly surprised at the outcome.

I’m not expecting him to read our profile or verifications. I never said that. The OP said that the verifications of the ladies he’s interested in suggest they prefer the ruder type of man. He obviously reads verifications judging by his comment, so i made a suggestion that he looks for ladies with verifications from nice polite guys, and those ladies are more likely to be interested in him. What I said had nothing to do with our profile though.

I don't find the women who frequent the fab forums are necessarily typical of the fab women local to me. I've mentioned before that a lot of the advice given to guys by women in the forums seems to contradict what actually works for guys locally to me. Make of that what you will. |
