Could you....

The ball busting thread got me thinking about what I could inflict on someone else.

My mind gets a bit wandery and I ended up at.....

Could you kill someone for £1 million? If you never saw them or knew who they were. All you had to do was press a button?

Hillside desolate

No, I wouldn't even think about it. If I did i wouldn't enjoy my £1 million because of the guilt anyway

I’d do it for a lot less. I’d gladly see my boss off for a tenner, the fat, halitosis-ridden bastard

Hiding in the shadows

Depends on what they'd done to warrant someone wanting them dead!

If they had injured or killed my family or friends then yes without hesitation. Otherwise no

No, we're only here once. If someone had really upset me or my family, then I'm sure I could conjour up plenty of ways to make them suffer.

There and to the left a bit

Simply put no, not as part of a cold financial transaction anyway.

Isn't there a film along those lines? Mysterious man knocks on the door and offers money in exchange for pushing a button to kill a stranger. I can't remember the name but it was quite good

If they had hurt people, kids, animals even, I might consider it. If it was just pushing a button it would have to be when they weren’t driving or around other people so no one else got hurt and no one had to be upset by seeing it

I wouldn't be able to live with the guilt. No amount of money is worth that. So, no.

Would it make a difference if you knew the person had done something bad?

Define "bad"?

Even so, I don't think I would like to have the power over whether someone should be shuffled off this mortal coil or not.

As long as it wasn't too bad, I'd just give them a Chinese Burn

Think it depends on the circumstances, we are all capable of killing someone if the right buttons are pressed.

This was an old ‘Twilight Zone’ short story. The mysterious man then collects the box and passes it onto another stranger. A story of greed with a great twist.
