Growing a beard, advice please

"So every time I start I get about ten days in a get fed up with the itching and feeling dirty even though I am a very hygienic guy ,I still feel dirty.
Any tips on growth, and maintenance please?"
Beard doesn't make you dirty, unless you don't shower or at least wash ur face...  |

Shampoo the beard, it keeps the hairs nice and soft, trim around the edges with a razor, and trim the beard with some clippers. This counteracts the "scruffy" feeling.
You can get a special beard shampoo, but I found even with my afro beard, normal shampoo works just as well, oh and soaking it in beer works wonders, and it's not too bad if you get it in your mouth |

Errrrr yeah I know.
Did I say I don't wash?
Just to clarify, for those who choose not to read post's.
I bathe daily I also wash in the morning,upon getting back from work and in the bath.
I said it made feel dirty. Not i am dirty |
