I'm not really fussed about expensive clothing on anyone so long as they look smart and comfortable what they are wearing.

All depends. If you're coming to clean my drains, mow my lawn etc, wear any old tat you like.

However, if you turned up for a meet looking like you have just cleaned drains I would ignore you.

Doesn't take much effort to make a good impression.

Usually keep an eye out, and if I see something I like, wait until the sales now. Loads on online clothes firms do some good bargains.

Mind you my taste in shirts can be a bit James May sometimes.

The grooming, need more space in bathroom cupboard now than I ever have before.

It's a turn off when a guy doesn't make an effort, that said you don't have to spend a fortune...I find it really sexy when a guy wears jeans that show off his bum and nice shirt x

Clothes don't have to be expensive but a man must be well dressed to make an impression.

Suited or casual in T shirt and jeans - they have to be classy to a degree.

Early days, a ouple on cam asked for a pic. I sent one and shortly after asked the obvious "What do you think?"

"Take the fucking tie off" was the actual reply.

Maybe not right .. judging book by cover sort of thing BUT

..It's a first impressions thing .. if someone has not put much thought & effort into their appearance .. have they for their grooming???

If the clothes are creased or chin unshaven .. is the body clean / smelling fresh & pubic hair shaven / trimmed?

Just a thought that crosses my mind [as a woman] when I meet someone

We all only get once chance to make a 1st impression x

Jeans and a t-shirt does it for me. I don't need a guy to wear a 3 piece suit (unless they're Al Pacino!), but please don't wear polo shirts. They are such a turn off for me.

I like a guy to be dressed nice but it has to be in something he himself in comfortable in. Some guys cant carry off a suit and they just look scruffy.

Im all for people being individual so as long as they have made an effort, whatever that may be, then its all ok eg; if I was meeting Marilyn Manson, I wouldnt expect him to turn up wearing a jumper and trousers.

This thread reminds me of a lady I use to stay in touch with when I first joined, she arranged to meet two blokes at a Hotel, both turned up scruffy with jeans and trainers on, and neither of them offered to buy her a drink, and yet they expected free sex.

No surprise she left in disgust, and jacked in on here as well!

What if they are trainers that have come from a sports car?

Reply privately, Reply in forum +quote or View forums list

By (user no longer on site)  over a year ago

I spend a lot on clothes and tend to buy what I find comfortable, although I try and wear what is appropriate to the situation I am in.

I spend all week in a suit, so at weekend the casual stuff comes out.

I live in trainers, t-shirts and jeans of a weekend.

Shoes wise, I have 2 pairs for work, 3 pairs of boots and in the region of 15 pairs of trainers.

I am a bit of an aftershave fan too - think there are 8 bottles on my bedroom drawers at the mo

I tend to buy light fragrances, but the 1 that gets the the most comments is Chanel Bleu - which was a prezzie !

Whether people notice or not doesn't really bother me greatly. What is more important is that I feel comfy and confident in whatever I wear.

In answer to the OP, yes people do take notice but they will notice YOU more than the clothes - the clothes merely set off how you look and feel - so if dressing nice makes you feel good it will shine through

Good dress sense isn't as important as style and presence.

As long as the clothes are clean, ironed and not falling apart, then that is good enough for me.

Have never checked someones labels to see if they are designer or not lol

As long as you've made a bit of an effort. I think everyone feels that bit more confidant when they have made an effort & it shows in how you carry yourself.

There's nothing sexier than confidence & knowing someones has made an effort to impress you.

I am always dressed the same for all of my sexual conquests.

Fez

Cravat

Purple velvet smoking jacket with gold piping

Tuxedo trousers with satan side flash

Persian slippers.

These are all easy to remove for when I start my seduction and begin my 'funky's magic naked dance of love' to the theme tune of 'Tales of the Unexpected'.

As for the sock thing its always a no no to keep them on during sex, see loads of pictures of guys with them on on here and its the worst look. have spoke to couples who have to actually ask some guys to take them off before starting which aint good!!

ach ya see the 'trick' is to do the undressing for them - that way they don't get the option to leave them on !

you just have to hope they have clipped their toenails and the socks don't reveal yellowing talons
