Do you stick to what you know?
Or would you try anything once?
What's the strangest thing you have tried?
What has made you gip?
What have you thought you would eat it again? |

As with most things I'm very adventurous with food.. I like to experiment. The strangest thing I've ever made was a bacon cheesecake... Unsweetened obviously and on a toast crumb base... But it works!! Makes a nice unusual starter |

That actually sounds good. Have you tried anything exotic on your travels? |

Oh I'm such a fussy eater.
I'm constantly eating though so I forget that I am until I'm faced with a menu and realise I won't eat anything from it.
My tastes have changed with time and there's more I'll eat. XX |

I'll try anything once
I had my works Christmas party at the weekend. Hog roast except is was more like pulled pork, served with German sausages, a weird concoction of sweetcorn/onions and sprouts and dried up bacon. It was nice to have something different but give me a traditional Christmas dinner any day!! |

Weirdest drink I’ve tried was a bacon and peanut butter milkshake, and it’s true add bacon to anything and it’s instantly better
Food on the other hand I’ll eat mostly anything except pineapple or anaseed |

"I'll try just about any food as long as it doesn't have tomatoes in it. The strangest thing I've tasted was shark, it was far too salty for me."
I quite like shark, but had it at a chippy in Australia. Proper fresh and not salty at all.

"Squid. Bloody awful. But I don't like seafood, so it was everything I thought it would be. "
Calamari is beautiful if cooked correctly, otherwise it tastes like a plate full of elastic bands. |

I was brought up to at least try it before saying you don't like it. I haven't been as successful passing that message down though.
I will give most things a go but ethics and other reasons come into affect.
Squirrel is about the most obscure thing I have tried. It wasn't much to write home about. |

Exotic depends on your perspective I guess... I've eaten goat in Greece and Egypt, Shark in Mexico, Wild Boar in Germany, Deer, Frogs Legs, Kangaroo and Ostrich here in Ireland... Snails too... I like to try anything at least once |

I'll try anything once. It's not right to say you don't like if you haven't tried.
All the usual kangaroo, ostrich, zebra, buffalo, crocodile. Wildebeest.
I love calamari. Too frightened to cook it though. |

Adventurous lot here. Frogs legs, snails, oysters (almost a daily occasion), razor clams, baby octopus, any seafood tbh,. Love the game that’s in season right now, there’s not much we won’t eat. I do recall a long strip of tripe going half way down to the stomach but still in the mouth at a Philippine house party that I had to bring back up out of sight, I was heaving discreetly. |

"Last night I had a chicken korma delivered ..
I had 2 slices of bread and butter with it to dip in the sauce...
I've rung the culinary police! "
The best curry I've ever had was cooked by a Tamil guy in Singapore, - served with white sliced bread only!
