The only problem with messenger is how it's spelt, I honestly don't understand it.
Why is message spelt message, but messenger spelt messenger?
Where the fucks that E and N come from?!

I just googled this and the consensus seems to be that the E and N were added just because people preferred the sound.
It's consistent with other,similar words e.g passenger,harbinger.
It is interesting how language evolves and develops,as someone pointed out on another thread,all words were made up at one time. |

BTW,messenger seems to be working fine here. Maybe it's a problem with your device,Seeside. |
