Halloween Town

So, it's only a few weeks away now, have you got dinner all planned out?

Three courses, two, pudding or pies... Enquiring minds wish to know

I'd like to break with trend and actually relax on Christmas day this year so I'm seriously thinking about doing a Yule feast on the solstice then just put a buffet out Christmas day

Traffic land

I’m having my Christmas meal with my kids on Christmas Eve. They are going to their Dad’s and on the day I’m either going to do myself a nice piece of steak or have a cheese fest!

Halloween Town

As we're at the parents this year...

It'll be a three course meal.

Prawn cocktail or pate for starters

Full on roast with four meats and six veg, two gravies, bread sauce, pigs in blankets, crackling, yorkies..

And desert will be pie or pudding or trifle, along with whipped cream, ice cream or pouring cream or custard

Coffee and tea afterwards

Fruit, cheese, crackers..

And turkey sandwiches, casarole, curry, salad and cold cuts for a week after.. XD

Lost both my folks two years ago, so I try to make Christmas just as my mum loved it. Apart from the two trees. That's too much tree. But it's the only time of the year I cook Yorkshires and have fancy mint chocolates.
