Do you read every comment or do you read a few and skip to the end post?

Me I do both, depends on the subject

I like to read all posts before I post so I don't post what's already posted but sometimes my bloody eyes glaze over cos all the comments are utter shite or the thread is too long.

I mostly dont read all the posts. I tend to read the first couple and then I skip to the end few and then post. If Ive duplicated then so be it.

I tend to be a bit passionate and can go off the deep end at trolling comments. So am trying to not read posts by forumites who favour this kind of posting style.

I read the post, depending on what its about I may or may not read the comments but I don't always have the time and comment with reading any of the posts

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I look to the right of the screen, and if the blue bar is less than an inch I don't bothere. If its more I'll read the comments and, if no-one has said what I want to say, I say it!

Then I stay up way past my bedtime arguing on the forums.

It depends. Sometimes I give up if people go off topic and start a love in in the middle. Some people like to show off how smart they are but just bore the tits of me so I skip their posts.

Some, when I see who's started the thread I don't even open it as I know it's going to be some attention seeking nonsense.

Same here, except I've gone metric.

On long ones, I don't think it matters if you are repeating something said earlier. Many will not have read it.

South West London / Surrey

Depends on what the topic is and how many posts it has.

Most of the time I tend to just skim through the other posts unless it is a particular interesting thread.

Scan and skim the appealing ones, but read right through the thread if I intend posting on it.

Rarely post at the end of huge threads as anything I have to say has probably already been aired by other members.
