Seems to be more Xenophobic and myopic than racist. In fact it's not racist at all.
The reason they don't want any more redheaded donors is cos they don't get enough requests for it. Except in Ireland where funnily enough ...... there are more redheads.... Seems the Irish want to maintain that beautiful Celt look of a redheaded colleen.
Strangely enough their biggest call is for brown hair and brown eyes............not from NORWAY but Spain .... odd that. Or not if you want your children to look like they belong to you.
Thank God we don't have lynch mobs n ducking stools. |

I like red hair, but if i could choose i would have blonde hair, also blondes smell nicer. Dark haired people smell spicey and blondes smell flowery, i read it somewhere. |

Hardly racism at all, predudice mayhaps...but understandable and easily defended with rational arguement...
There is a wider issue of eugenics in society...choosing traits with IVF..

The very first paragraph below the headline explains why: there's little demand for sperm from redheaded men so they've ceased collecting it.
Before Siren and I got married I told her in no uncertain terms, 'no fookin gingers!' - as she's blonde/ borderline-strawberry. Good job our lad is fair-haired and we don't know what the new arrival will be but if it's a ginge, Siren's in Big Trub!!

Well yeah, true I guess, but if you have the option of a ginge you would make sure you didn't pick one wouldn't you. It's no different in the normal way of selecting partners - gingers always go home alone and end up harbouring thoughts of genocide. |
