You can get answers to most questions in here, so why not see if anyone has good experience with helmet cams as well!

I would be using it on my push bike. I would prefer one that has night vision too as I also use my bike for commute after sunset.

I took a screen shot of a camera my mates use, but can’t send it you.

It’s excellent

Go pro are shite, battery life is awful, I’m currently looking into a better alternative for a helmet cam.

Hiding in the shadows

I have the Contour Roam, use to record races & coaching sessions.

It's brilliant, very light weight, totally waterproof - I've used it surfing, comes with a variety of mounts & best of all, doesn't make you look like a TellyTubby wearing it either.

Hm, nice mounts. But I'm not sure about having the cam on the side of the helmet for traffic hazards recordings?

Might have to opt for a TeleTubbies' one.

the land of saints & sinners

I would recommend using the Cyclic Fly cams the front and rear ones come with built in lights and have good battery life. My preference is for bar mount cameras

They are also compatible with go pro mounts.
