Always good you can just put everything in and leave it to do whatever whilst at work

"was thinking of investing in one. any good?"

Definitely but only put it on when you're going out. Smelling utter deliciousness for 6 hours on a Sunday is a killer!

In the morning, put all ingredients for a stew in it and switch on. Go out. That evening the stew is ready to eat. Doesn't matter what time you get in, it's still fine.

If that sounds good, then yeah.

Love them, need a new one. You can do all sorts in them, casseroles, curries, chilli, puddings, cakes, pasta...

Up the spice/seasoning and reduce the water in everything you make, otherwise everything comes out watery, bland and brown.

Just bought one from Aldi. I’ve had two eight hour casseroles this last couple of weeks. Because it’s so big there is always something left over to freeze.

Without thinking about it if mine broke I'd drive straight to Argos and buy a new one.

would most of you use it always or do you cook the normal way also?

I almost exclusively cook using it. Chillis, stews, curry, pie fillings, joints of meat, bread, desserts.

I just prepare the evening before and switch on before going to work in the morning.

Well worth the investment.

If you can stretch to it, get a large volume multi-function device i.e. one that will steam, saute etc.

Read the reviews before spending your money.

Get back to me if you want a personal recommendation.
