Mine goes up on the 17th dec,,, been tradition for 22 years- my dad sadly passed away that day and since them my oldest two do the tree every year and place his star on top.

Gets quite emotional but lovely to see kids keeping grandads memory going, both moved out but come every year to do the tree,"
